Earth Science is an expansive study that moves from the Earth’s lithosphere to the rest of the universe. Students will study major theories in earth science, guided by biblical and scientific principles. Ultimately, this course leads to a better understanding of our Creator and a greater appreciation of His creation. The process of teaching encourages students to think like scientists who are eager to learn and discover. By equipping students to be conscious of earth science issues, they will be able to discover new ways to exercise dominion through science.

Throughout this class students will learn the various elements of earth science. The class will follow a schedule of lecture one week and a corresponding lab the next. Parents will receive test packets and answer key on the first day of class.

This course will use the BJU Earth Science curriculum. Text books are not required, however the lab manual must be purchased individually. https://www.bjupress.com/category/science/earth-science/5637160448.c
