Do you have what it takes to run a country?
In Worldbuilding 101, 7-12th grade students will compete with one another in teams to lead their fictional country to create the best festival highlighting culture and civilization. They will build from the ground up, laying out the theory of how the world works before putting it into application as they deal with natural disasters, economic crises, and everything else a nation could wish for! Through it all, they will grow in their skills, not just as creatives and storytellers, but as leaders as they learn to exercise thoughtful planning, persuasive negotiations, and intense strategy to win, gaining both stronger creative skills and a better appreciation of the world we live in.
