One of the many skills that will benefit students as they enter the world will be their ability to have productive conversations with others who may disagree with their stance on any particular issue. Through the process of debate students will learn how to properly state and defend their stance on various topics. Over the course of the semester students will gain experience in speaking to groups, conducting thorough research and analyzing both sides of an argument.
