This Life Skills course is designed to empower students with some essential skills needed to navigate daily challenges and become successful, independent individuals. The class covers a wide range of practical topics such as effective communication, decision-making, time management, personal finance, problem-solving, emotional intelligence, and healthy habits. Students will engage in interactive lessons, real-world scenarios, and hands-on activities aimed at developing confidence, critical thinking, and the ability to manage life’s complexities. Whether they’re preparing for adulthood, the workforce, or simply striving to improve their personal well-being, this course equips them with tools to thrive in everyday life. Some topics covered include:

Food Handling

Cooking

Indoor/Outdoor Maintenance

First Aid

Basic Vehicle Maintenance

Getting a Job

Personal Finance

Communication Skills

Executive Functions
