Course Description
For sewing class this semester we will be making a tote bag, pajama pants/shorts, standard sized pillow case, and a bible/book cover. Student requirements include a working sewing machine, machine needles, bobbins and thread. Additional supplies are listed below:
Large Tote Bag
- 1 yard fabric for outer
- 1 yard fabric for lining
*Cotton, home decor, denim, duck, or canvas work well for the outer. If you choose a home decor, denim, duck, or canvas outer fabric, I would choose a cotton fabric for lining. The finished measurements of the bag are 16.5″x19.5″.
Standard Pillow Case
- 1 yard for main body of pillowcase
- 1/3 yard for cuff
Bible/Book Cover
- 2 coordinating fat quarters or similar yardage
